Korean Marinated Eggs (Mayak Gyeran)

1/2C Soy Sauce
1/2C Water
1/4C Honey
1/4 onion, diced
1 Green Onion, diced
3 Garlic, minced
2 Chili pepper, diced
1T White sesame seeds, toasted
6 eggs, 7 minutes, shelled
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a tight sealed container, make sure honey is dissolved. If heated, please make sure cooled completely before adding eggs to it.
Make sure all eggs are submerged & covered by the liquid. Refrigerate 24 hrs prior to consumption. Store eggs separately after 48hrs, best consume within 3 - 4days.
Notes
Marinate can be made ahead of time but can’t be saved after marinating due to loss of flavor & food safety issue.
If not using fresh chili pepper, dried chili pepper can be used as substitution. Soak in hot water for 10-15 minutes & diced to add to marinate. Or Omit all together for children.
