Ingredients

1 tablespoon ground turmeric

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon kosher salt

1½ cups (375g) mayonnaise

Directions

Stir the turmeric, lemon juice, mustard, onion powder, and sait into the mayonnaise. Let sit for at least 30 minutes before using so the flavorings can mingle, then taste and add more salt if you like. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

This easy sauce shows that there's no need to make your own mayonnaise-good store-bought mayonnaise is an honorable and versatile ingredient. And by "good," I mean Duke's. Lest I get any Hellmann's fans upset, I like Hellmann's also. (Hellmann's is called Best Foods in some regions.)
