Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt
1 lb chicken breasts, sliced
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
1 tsp each garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika
1 red onion, sliced
1/2 cup of BBQ sauce
8 oz Land O Lakes® Co-Jack® Cheese Chunk, shredded
4 Sub rolls
Directions
Cut the chicken breasts into smaller pieces. Heat a griddle over medium heat. Drop a spoonful of Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt onto the griddle. Add the sliced chicken and season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Cook the chicken on the griddle until it reaches an internal temp of 165 degrees F. While the chicken is cooking, add the onions to the griddle with a little bit more Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt.
Next, spread Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt on the sub rolls and toast them on the griddle until golden brown.
Once the chicken and onions are cooked combine them with about 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce.
Turn the griddle off and cover the chicken with shredded Land O Lakes® Co-Jack® Cheese. Cover with a griddle dome and let the cheese melt. Add the cheesy chicken and onions to the toasted bread and enjoy!
