Ingredients

1–2 shots of espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee, cooled

¾ cup milk of choice (dairy, oat, almond, soy, etc.)

2 tablespoons brown sugar (or to taste)

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Ice

Optional: cinnamon stick or extra ground cinnamon for garnish

Directions

Start by making your brown sugar cinnamon syrup. In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of water. Heat gently and stir until the sugar dissolves and it smells like heaven. This should only take about a minute or two. Let it cool slightly while you prep the rest.

Fill a glass with ice, then pour in your freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee. Add your brown sugar cinnamon syrup and stir well until the coffee takes on that beautiful golden swirl. Pour in your milk of choice and stir again. Watch the magic happen as it blends into a creamy, sweet, spiced masterpiece.

Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top or even a cinnamon stick if you're feeling fancy. Drink immediately, preferably with a side of peace and quiet—or a good playlist.
