Ingredients

Avocado spray or oil

Large chuck roast

3-4 cups beef broth

1 can beef consume

1 can cream of mushroom

Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning

1 box of Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuit mix (you will need milk and shredded cheese for this too!)

Directions

In a large dutch oven, heat some avocado oil to medium-high heat

Pat chuck roast dry, and season generously with salt & pepper

Add chuck roast to dutch oven and sear for about 3 minutes on each side (should have some nice color)

Add in 3 cups beef broth

Add in beef consume

Add in cream of mushroom

Add in garlic powder, onion powder, and italian seasoning

Give it all a good mix

Place lid on the dutch oven

Place dutch oven in the oven at 350 degrees for about 3 hours- you will know it’s done when the roast shreds VERY easily with a fork

Remove roast and place it onto a cutting board

Shred it up, removing all fat

Place what’s remaining in dutch oven on the stove on medium-high heat

While that’s coming to a boil, mix your Cheddar Bay biscuits according to package instructions

Scoop biscuits with a cookie scoop or spoon into small balls

Drop them into the pot- you’re doing it right if the dumpling floats back up to the top!

At this step- you can add the last cup of beef broth if needed

Once all dumplings are in, cover with lid

Lower the heat and let this cook for 10-15 mins, stirring occasionally

Once the dumplings are cooked, add back in the shredded roast

Give it all a really good mix, add a little more fresh cracked pepper, and enjoy!
