20 Minute Garlic Beef And Brocoli Lo Mein

Ingredients

8 oz lo mein or spaghetti noodles

3 cups broccoli

1 tbl olive oil

8 oz gr beef

3 garlic cloves minced

1 medium carrot shredded

1/4 packed brown sugar

1/4 lo sodium soy sauce

2 tbl hoisen sauce

2 tsp sesame oil

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

2 tsp cornstarch

Directions

Cook the noodles in large pot boiling water. Add broccoli to pot for last 5 minutes of cooking. Drain noodles and broccoli.

While pasta is cooking add oil to skillet and cook meat. Add the garlic, carrots, and cook for one minute more.

In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, hoisen sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper and2 tsp cornstarch.

Add the spaghetti and broccoli and toss.

Notes

Can use different meat and do not need carrots
