ASIAN CHICKEN

2lbs of chicken breast (cut in to 1" cubes)
3 tbsp of Flour
1 tsp of black pepper
olive oil
1/2 cup of soy sauce
4 tbsp rice wine vinegar
4 tbsp of ketchup
2 tbsp of sweet chilli sauce
2 cloves of garlic (I used very lazy garlic)
1 tsp fresh grated ginger (I used very lazy ginger)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes
1 cup of cashew nuts
Directions
Place chicken, flour and pepper in a bag and shake.
Heat some olive oil (I used garlic infused olive oil) in a pan & brown the chicken for a few minutes on each side & put in the slowcooker.
Mix the following ingredients in a bowl & pour over the chicken...
1/2 cup of soy sauce
4 tbsp rice wine vinegar
4 tbsp of ketchup
2 tbsp of sweet chilli sauce
2 cloves of garlic (I used very lazy garlic)
1 tsp fresh grated ginger (I used very lazy ginger)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes
You can add the 1 cup of cashew nuts now or nearer to the end of cooking depending how crunchy or soft you like them. I put them in about 1/2 way through.
Cook on low for 4 hours
