1 box InnovAsian Sweet & Sour Chicken
2 cups white rice
1 ½ tbsp butter
Pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp furikake
Sesame seeds (optional)
Scallions (optional)
Directions
In a bowl, combine warm white rice, butter, and salt. Mix until the butter is fully melted and incorporated.
Take the InnovAsian Sweet & Sour Chicken and soak the sauce packet in warm water to loosen.
Place the chicken pieces on a lightly oiled tray. Spray the tops with more oil and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 19 minutes.
While the chicken is baking, heat a pan with a bit of oil and fry your eggs. Baste the tops with hot oil and cook until yolks reach your desired doneness. (For a runny yolk, remove after about 2–3 minutes.)
When the chicken is crispy, pour the warmed sweet & sour sauce over it and toss until well coated.
To serve, plate your butter rice and top with eggs and sweet & sour chicken.
Drizzle soy sauce, sesame oil, and sprinkle furikake over the eggs.
Optionally, garnish the chicken with sesame seeds and scallions, and your eggs with a drizzle of chili oil.
