Ingredients

1 pound beef steak, thinly sliced

12 ounces noodles or ramen noodles

2 cups broccoli florets

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon sesame oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, minced

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon sesame seeds, optional

Directions

Cook noodles according to package directions until tender, about 4 to 6 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

Add sesame oil, broccoli, garlic, and ginger to the same skillet. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.

Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, hoisin sauce, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.

Add cornstarch mixture and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and turns glossy.

Return beef to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.

Add cooked noodles and mix until everything is evenly coated.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired and serve hot. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
