Sticky Honey and Nduja Sausage and Bacon Rice

Ingredients

400g sausages

150g bacon

3 tsp garlic puree or 3 cloves

1tbs tomato puree

1tbs Nduja (or to taste)

1tbs Honey

500g leftover cooked basmati rice - I used microwave pouches

2tbs light soy

4 spring onions

Sauce - 2 tbs mayonnaise, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1tsp garlic and 1/2 tbs hot honey

Directions

Fry off the sausage and bacon until cooked through and crispy. Add in the garlic, tomato puree, Nduja and honey and mix well cooking for a minute or so. Add in the cooked rice and light soy sauce. Mix well and cook for a further 3-4 minutes adding a splash of hot water if needed, then season to taste. Garnish with the spring onions and sauce. Serve and enjoy.
