4 cups bread flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp instant yeast
1¾ cups warm water
Directions
Mix flour, salt, and yeast. Add water and stir until shaggy dough forms. Knead 8-10 min until smooth. Let rise 1-2 hours.
Divide into 3 pieces, shape into logs. Let rise 30-45 min.
Score tops with sharp knife. Bake at 450°F for 20-25 min with a pan of water in the oven for steam.
Cool slightly. Slice. Try not to eat the whole loaf in one sitting (I failed).
