Garlic Cheese Bisquits

2 cups biscuit mix (Bisquick)
½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2/3 cup milk
5 tablespoons cold butter
4 tablespoons melted butter
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
½ trespoon parsley flakes
Directions
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Cut cold butter into small pea-sized pieces.
3. Stir together the biscuit mix, cheese, cold butter and milk until soft dough forms. Beat with a wooden spoon for about 30 seconds. Do not overwork the dough or the biscuits will be tough.
4. Spoon 9 biscuits onto a greased cookie sheet. Smooth down the tops to prevent hard points from forming.
5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the tops are brown.
6. While the biscuits are baking, melt the butter in a pan and stir in the garlic powder and parsley.
7. Once the biscuits are done, brush the butter mixture on the tops and serve hot.
