1 cup boiling water
2 green tea bags
1 yerba maté tea bag
1½ tablespoons agave syrup, honey or sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
6 ice cubes, plus more for serving
Directions
Put 1 cup boiling water in a heatproof measuring cup. Add 2 green tea bags and 1 yerba maté bag; steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags, squeezing the excess liquid into the cup before discarding. Stir in 1½ tablespoons agave (or other sweetener) and 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Add 6 ice cubes; stir until they are melted and the drink is cold. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the energy drink.
