Apple Crisp

1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup brown sugar packed
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dash of salt
1/4 cup butter
2 pounds apples (six medium)
Ice cream
Directions
Combine the oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
Cut in the butter until it looks coarse crumbs.
Peel and core apples. Sliced apples and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Sprinkle the crumb mixture all over.
Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
