Golden, Crisp Semolina-crusted Chicken Patties, Simmered wit

Patties:
2 lbs ground chicken
1 onion, finely chopped
Small bunch dill + cilantro, chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp chicken consommé powder
1/2 tsp hot paprika
1 tsp baharat or ras el hanout
1 tsp turmeric
2 eggs (in mix)
1/4 cup semolina
1/2 cup oil
1 egg, beaten + extra semolina for coating
Directions
Mix ingredients. Form small flat patties. Dip in egg and coat with semolina. Fry until golden or broil in oven 5 min per side.
Sauce:
Olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
5 cloves garlic, chopped
1-2 tbsp tomato paste
2 cups frozen peas
2 cups frozen artichokes
1 Tbsp chicken consommé powder
1 Tbsp baharat
1/2 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp turmeric
Salt + pepper
3 cups water
Sauté onion, celery and garlic in oil. Add tomato paste until deep red. Stir in peas and artichokes. Season with spices, add water, bring to simmer.
Nestle patties in sauce. Transfer to a low temp oven until cooked through and tender. Enjoy!
