White Bread

Ingredients

3/4 cup (174g) water

1/2 cup (125g) whole milk

1 packet (9 grams?) yeast

3 cups (440g) bread flour

1.5 teaspoons (8g) fine sea salt

1 tablespoon (21g) granulated sugar

3 tablespoons unsalted butter softened

Directions

Heat water and milk until around 98°F and add yeast so that it blooms

In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine all ingredients except butter and mix until combined

Slowly add softened butter and continue mixing

Move onto counter and shape into a ball

Place in a greased bowl for between 1h and 1h 30 mins or until doubled in size

Grease a bread loaf tin

Roll the dough out to roughly the length of the tin and roll up like a mat

Place the rolled up dough in the tin and let sit covered with a moist towel for another 45-60 mins

Preheat the oven to 350°F

Bake bread for 35-40 mins or until golden
