Halloumi Tiropita

Ingredients

Y’all absolutely LOVED my three ingredient tiropita with feta, so here’s a version with halloumi as well

3-4 sheets of filo pastry

Approx 1-2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 block of halloumi (cut length ways in the middle)

20-30g honey

Pinch of chilli flakes

Directions

1.) Pre-heat the oven at 170 degrees Celsius fan and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2.) Lay out the filo pastry sheets and brush about a tbsp of olive oil.

3.) Place the block of halloumi cheese in the middle and fold the filo pastry sheets like you’re wrapping a parcel. Bake for 20 minutes.

4.) In a small bowl, mix together the honey and chilli flakes. Once the pastry is done, top with this and enjoy whilst warm.
