Juicy Marinated Steak

Steak
2–2½ lb flank, skirt, or sirloin steak
Classic Marinade
⅓ cup soy sauce
¼ cup olive oil
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried parsley (or Italian seasoning)
Directions
Whisk all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
Place steak in a zip-top bag or shallow dish.
Pour marinade over steak, turning to coat well.
Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours (overnight for best flavor).
Remove steak from fridge 20 minutes before cooking.
Cook (Choose One):
Grill: Medium-high heat, 4–6 minutes per side
Skillet: Hot cast iron, 4–5 minutes per side
Broil: 4–5 inches from heat, 5–6 minutes per side
Rest steak 5–10 minutes, then slice against the grain.
Spoon any juices over the top and serve.
Tips & Substitutions
Flank or skirt steak gives the juiciest result
