Korean Chicken - Honey Soy Garlic

Ingredients

Flour

Cornstarch

Oil

Garlic

Garlic Powder (optional)

Chicken (cubed or sliced)

Honey

Soy Sauce

Directions

FOR CHICKEN

  1. Marinate chicken for 30 mins. Salt, pepper and a bit of garlic powder.

  2. Mix flour, cornstarch and a bit of salt in a bowl. Put all chicken in and mix.

  3. Remove from batter & dip in whisked egg.

  4. Put back in bowl with flour to do 2nd coat. Let it stay there for 5 mins.

  5. Fry.

HONEY SOY GARLIC SAUCE

  1. Use olive oil or any vegetable oil.

  2. Saute the minced garlic.

  3. In separate container, mix soy & honey.

  4. Once garlic is cooked, add the soy & honey.

  5. Keep mixing and fire should not be too strong, the honey easily gets burnt.

  6. Add cornstarch dissolved in water if you want thicker sauce.
