20 Minute Thai Basil Beef Rolls

Ingredients

4 1/2 pounds ground beef (or chicken)

12 cloves garlic, chopped

3 tablespoon fresh grated ginger

3–9 teaspoons Chinese 5 spice

1 cup tamari or soy sauce

3/4 cup Thai chili sauce

Flour tortillas

Fresh toppings: cucumbers, cilantro, Thai basil, roasted peanuts

Directions

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Add garlic, ginger, and Chinese 5 spice; cook until fragrant. Stir in tamari and Thai chili sauce; simmer until well coated.

Warm tortillas in the microwave briefly.

Assemble each roll by placing beef mixture on a tortilla and adding fresh toppings. Fold sides and roll tightly.

Serve warm with chili paste and toasted sesame oil.
