Cabbage Soup

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp oil
2 beef bouillon cubes
3 Tbsp chopped parsley
1/2 tsp paprika
10 oz can mushrooms
2 Tbsp white sugar
28 oz can tomatoes
2 (5 1/2 oz) cans tomato paste
4 cups water
1 cup diced raw carrots
6 to 7 cups chopped cabbage
Directions
Sauté beef, onion, celery and green pepper in oil. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, or the longer, the better.
Salt and pepper can be added to taste.
