Ingredients

2 ¾ cups All-purpose flour (- Spoon & leveled)

1 tsp Baking powder

½ tsp Salt

1 ½ tsp Ground cinnamon

1 cup Unsalted butter (- Room temperature)

¾ cup Granulated sugar

½ cup Light brown sugar (- Packed)

2 Eggs (- Room temperature)

2 tsp Pure vanilla extract

8 oz Cream cheese (- Full-fat, softened)

⅓ cup Powdered sugar (- Sifted)

½ tsp Pure vanilla extract

1 pinch Salt

½ cup Granulated sugar

1 tsp Ground cinnamon (- Adjust to taste)

Directions

Make Filling

Beat cream cheese, add sugar, vanilla, salt, and chill filling

Prepare Dough

Cream butter & sugars, add eggs & vanilla, mix in dry ingredients

Assemble Cookies

Flatten dough, add filling, seal and roll into balls

Coat in Sugar

Roll cookie balls in cinnamon sugar

Bake & Cool

Bake cookies and cool slightly

Final Coating

Roll warm cookies in sugar again (optional)
