Chicken Alfredo Tater Tot Casserole: A Cozy, Comforting Dinn

Ingredients

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)

1 (15 oz) jar Alfredo sauce

1 cup sour cream

1 cup frozen peas

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

Step 2: Prepare the Sauce. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and frozen peas. Stir until the mixture is well combined and the chicken is evenly coated in the creamy sauce.

Step 3: Assemble the Casserole. Pour the chicken and Alfredo mixture into the prepared casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.

Step 4: Add the Tater Tots. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the casserole mixture. Make sure to cover the entire surface of the casserole with the tater tots.

Step 5: Bake the Casserole. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Step 6: Add the Cheese. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the casserole and return it to the oven. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
