Ingredients

2 teaspoon oil

500g lean beef mince

1 pack continental seasoning base (from woolies)

1 1/2 cups (375ml) water

1/2 cup (110g) long grain rice

2 carrots, sliced

4 cups shredded cabbage

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large frypan, or wok, and brown mince

  2. Add seasoning base, water, rice, carrot, and cabbage, stir to combine

  3. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes or until rice is tender

  4. Serve garnished with spring onions
