Pound Cake (Lucille Murrell Moore)

1 cup whipped butter
½ cup Crisco
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp lemon flavoring (or almond)
2 tsp vanilla
Directions
Cream together butter, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time until blended.
Alternate adding flour and milk in parts.
Add flavorings.
Put into greased & floured 10 inch tube pan (or Bundt pan).
Bake at 325° for 1 hour, turn to 350° for 30 minutes.
START in COLD OVEN.

Start cold
315 for one hour
350 for 30 minutes
