Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

3 cups flour

2 tsp. cream of tartar

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. soda

1 cup butter

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup sugar

Directions

Mix flour, cream of tartar, salt, soda, and butter as for pie crust. Beat eggs with vanilla and sugar. Add to the flour mixture and knead. Chill 1 hour. Roll, cut, bake at 375 for 5 - 8 minutes.
