Black Bean Burgers

4-6 iceberg lettuce leaves
1 Can of Black Beans (drained and rinsed)
1/3 chopped white onion
3 white or bella mushrooms
1/3 chopped red bell pepper
1/4 Cup of Chickpea Flour
3 tbs of Ketchup
2 tsp each:
Salt
Pepper
Smoked Paprika
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Vegan cheese of choice
For Garlic Burger Sauce
1/3 cup vegan mayo
2 tbs ketchup
1 tbs sriracha
1 tbs mustard
1 grated garlic clove
2 tsp dried dill
Directions
Add your peppers, onions and mushrooms to a food processor. Pulse until all is roughly chopped and around the same size. Sauté this mixture in a pan over medium heat until most of the moisture has cooked out (optionally sprinkle salt to draw out more water). Remove from pan and set aside. Then in a large bowl add the black beans, cooked veggies, chickpea flour and ketchup and mash to form the patty mix and it holds shape. Mix until all combined and mixture forms patty. Pan fry until crispy and cooked through. Dress with toppings of choice and enjoy!
