6 pounds Saint Louis Style Ribs membrane removed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons smoked, sweet, or regular paprika
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
1½ teaspoons dry mustard
1½ teaspoons red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon hickory liquid smoke
1½ tablespoons apple cider vinegar
BBQ sauce
Directions
• Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
• In a 9-by-13-inch baking dish, add the ribs and drizzle the oil all over the front and back of them. Sprinkle on the sugar, black pepper, paprika, onion and garlic powders, salt, parsley, mustard, and red pepper flakes. Drizzle the liquid smoke and vinegar over the ribs, and brush or rub them down until they are thoroughly covered.
* Cover the ribs with aluminum foil, and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Remove the ribs from the oven and remove the foil.
• Brush your favorite BBQ sauce on the ribs, and turn the oven on broil. Broil the ribs until the sauce is nice and sticky, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
