Damset Adas-warm Lentil Hummus

2 cups of lentils (green or brown)
4 to 5 cups of water
4 cloves of garlic
5 chilis
salt & pepper
1 tsp cumin powder
4 tbsps tahini
4 tbsps olive oil
tomato
2 lemons
Instruções
start by boiling the lentils in 4 cups of water for 30-40 minutes.
if it starts to thicken before the lentils are super soft add another cup of water)
make the dagga by mashing the garlic and chili with a pinch of salt then add the lemon juice.
add the dagga to the lentils along with 3 tbsps of tahini and olive oil and mix it thoroughly.
add them when you reach the desired consistency of lentils. You can also control how strong the garlic flavor can be depending on when you add the dagga. The longer it cooks the less pungent)
once you reach the desired consistency let it cool for a few minutes. Serve it with a drizzle of tahini. Olive oil and chopped tomato on top and enjoy.
