24 oz bag of frozen pork & mushroom dumplings
1 lb ground pork
1-2 carrots (diced)
1/2 c scallion whites (diced)
5-6 garlic cloves (minced)
white pepper
chicken bouillon
1/2 tbsp flour
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 c shaoxing wine
32oz carton chicken stock
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp neutral oil
1 tsp sesame oil
1/4 cabbage (diced)
1-2 handfuls enoki mushroom
chili oil (topping)
scallion greens (garnish)
Instruções
Add your ground pork in chunks to a pot with oil. Once they have a nice sear season with, 1/4 tsp salt, pinch of black pepper, and 1/4 tsp chicken bouillon.
Break it up and let it cook until it’s slightly undercooked then remove.
In the same pot add your carrots, onions, and garlic. When nice & fragrant add a pinch of salt, chicken bouillon, and white pepper. Add your flour, red pepper flakes, and let that cook for a few mins to get rid of raw flour taste.
Deglaze with your shaoxing wine, add your meat back in, your chicken stock, 2 c of water, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
Add a bit more salt, chicken bouillon & white pepper.
Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to medium low, cover, and cook for 45 mins.
Now add your enoki mushrooms, cabbage, and the frozen dumplings. Bring back to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10-15 mins until dumplings are cooked through.
Adjust anything to taste, serve with chili crunch, and the green parts of your scallions.
