Creamy Bourbon Chicken

1 ยฝ lbs boneless chicken thighs, chopped
1 tbsp oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup bourbon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4โ1/3 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper (to taste)
Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Sear chicken in oil until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sautรฉ garlic for 1 min.
Pour in bourbon and simmer 2โ3 mins to burn off the alcohol.
Add butter and heavy cream โ stir until it turns smooth and creamy.
Stir in brown sugar, vanilla, ketchup, hot sauce, and vinegar. Let it cook down 5โ7 mins.
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Return chicken to the pan and let it simmer in that sauce.
Plate it up and hit it with chopped green onions on top for that fresh pop.
