Slow Cooker Hamburger Hash

1/2 cup beef broth ๐Ÿฅฃ

1 pound ground beef , browned and drained ๐Ÿ–

1 teaspoon garlic powder ๐Ÿง„

4 large potatoes , peeled and diced ๐Ÿฅ”

1 cup frozen peas and carrots , thawed ๐Ÿฅฆ

1 can (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup ๐Ÿ„

1 cup cheddar cheese , shredded (optional ) ๐Ÿง€

Salt and pepper , to taste

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 onion , chopped ๐Ÿง…

Step 1: Brown the Ground Beef ๐Ÿ”ฅ

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

Season the beef with garlic powder , salt , pepper , and paprika . Stir to combine and set aside.

Step 2: Prep the Slow Cooker ๐Ÿฅ„

In the slow cooker, combine the diced potatoes , chopped onion , and beef broth . Stir gently to coat the potatoes and onions in the broth.

Add the browned ground beef , frozen peas and carrots , and cream of mushroom soup . Stir everything together until evenly combined.

Step 3: Cook โฐ

Cover the slow cooker and cook on:

Low for 6โ€“8 hours , or

High for 3โ€“4 hours ,

until the potatoes are tender and the flavors have melded together.

Step 4: Add Cheese (Optional) ๐Ÿง€

If using cheese, sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the top of the hash during the last 15โ€“20 minutes of cooking. Cover the slow cooker to allow the cheese to melt.

Stir the hash gently before serving to ensure everything is well combined.

Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
