Sauces

1. Classic Soy-Sesame Sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice

  • 1/2 tsp honey or maple syrup

  • Optional: grated ginger or garlic, sesame seeds

2. Spicy Mayo

  • 2 tbsp mayo

  • 1โ€“2 tsp sriracha (to taste)

  • A few drops of lime juice or sesame oil

Rice:

Rinse rice under water a few times. Cook 2 cups of rice in rice cooker. Let sit for 10 mins.

In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. You can warm it slightly (microwave or small pot) to help dissolve. Lay rice on a sheet, mix in vinegar sauce.
