Apple Dumplings

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon salt

2/3 cup shortening +2 tablespoons

1/4 cup of water

Mix ingredients together and sprinkle with water 1 tablespoon at a time. Mix lightly with fork until flour mixture is moist.

Gather go together and press into a ball. Rollout and cut into 6 inch squares. Wrap apple.

Bake at 425° for 40 to 45 minutes until brown.
