Ingredients

- 1500 g shredded cabbage

- 907 g Bunyan's BBQ Sauce

- 127 g Cajun Chef hot sauce

- 60 g apple cider vinegar

- 30 g yellow mustard

- 6 g turmeric

- 6 g paprika

- 12 g mustard seed

- 10 g salt

- 5 g black pepper

- 90 g tallow or bacon fat

- 170 g shredded carrots

- 110 g diced bell pepper

Istruzioni

Directions

1. In a saucepan, melt tallow or bacon fat. Remove from heat.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, hot sauce, vinegar, mustard, and dry spices until smooth.

3. Gradually whisk in the melted fat until emulsified into the dressing.

4. In an extra-large mixing bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, and bell pepper.

5. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss thoroughly until everything is evenly coated.

6. Let sit at least 2 hours, or overnight, to allow flavors to meld.

7. Serve chilled atop blackened redfish tacos or alongside your BBQ favorites.

8. Optional: Finish tacos with fresh lime zest, cilantro, or a pinch of Tajin.
