Shredded Honey Sesame Chicken

2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup (accident) rice wine vinegar (1 tbsp)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon ginger, grated (1 tsp)
6 cloves garlic, minced (4)
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
sesame seeds for garnish, if desired
2 cup Nishiki rice dry (2.25cup to 3-3.5 cups water)
1-2 teaspoons sriracha, depending on how spicy you would like this
2 scallions, sliced thin, divided (white parts for cooking, green for serving)
Istruzioni
marinate
low 5 hours
Remove chicken
Reduce sauce with cornstarch
Pull chicken
Add sauce and mix
add garlic chili or siracha
Sesame seeds

tasted way too much like reduced/burnt soy sauce
Need more of the honey sesame flavor
Next time less hoisin sauce. Add sweet soy sauce
