Honey Chili Chicken

1 ½ Diced Chicken Breast, boneless skinless
Salt and Pepper, to taste
1 tsp Garlic powder
3 tbsp corn starch
3-4 Garlic cloves, finely minced
1 Red bell pepper, cut into squares
1 White onion cut into squares
Cooked white rice
Sauce:
1/2 cup dark soy sauce
1/4 cup of honey
3 tbsp of sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce
1 tablespoon of Chinese five spice
1 teaspoon of cornstarch (mixed with 1/4 cup water)
Garnish:
Green onions
Sliced Red Chilli
Istruzioni
Add all ingredients for sauce together in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
Cut chicken into cubes then place in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cornstarch.
Transfer to air fryer rack, spray with avocado oil and then Air fry for 20 minutes at 400°F. Shake every 5 mins. Or fry in a frying pan until browned.
In a pan on medium heat cook the pepper, onion, and garlic for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften.
Then add the sauce (mix again before adding) and cook for 3-4 more minutes until the sauce thickens.
Add crispy chicken to the sauce, garnish with chilis and green onions (optional) and enjoy over some rice.
