1 lb smoked sausage or Italian sausage, sliced into bite-sized pieces

For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or your favorite)

2 tbsp butter

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp black pepper

Salt, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
