Imitation Crab Salad Recipe

12 ounces of flake surimi/krab

3 tablespoons minced shallots

1/2 cup minced celery

6 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika

1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1/4 teaspoon mustard powder

1/4 scant teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill

1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Dash or two of hot sauce such as sriracha or Tabasco (optional)

Combine the surimi, shallots, and celery in a large bowl.

Stir in the mayonnaise and lemon juice.

Add the paprika, Old Bay, mustard powder, salt, and pepper, and stir.

Add the fresh dill and parsley and mix. Add a few dashes of hot sauce to taste.
