Brownie Mug Cake

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

3 tbsp granulated sugar

2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tbsp melted butter

2 tbsp milk (add a little instant coffee for a richer flavor)

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

1 pinch A of salt

2 tbsp chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate

Optional: a small scoop of ice cream or whipped cream for serving

In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.

Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.

Stir until smooth and no lumps remain.

Fold in the chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate for extra gooeyness.

Microwave on high for about 1 minute and 15 seconds to 1 minute and 30 seconds, or until the brownie is set but still slightly gooey in the center. Again, monitor closely to avoid overcooking.

Let it cool for a minute or two before serving. Top with a small scoop of ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
