Honeymoon Pasta

8 oz Linguine
1 Lemon, juiced and zested
Several Garlic cloves, minced
0.25 c Parmesan
0.25 c Butter

Cook linguine to al dente in as little water as reasonable (makes that water extra starchy!). Reserve some pasta water, then set aside pasta.
Melt a bit of the butter in the same pan, then sautee the minced garlic until it smells good. :-) Remove from the heat and set aside.
Put the rest of the butter in a glass bowl, then add the pasta. Mix quickly for a while to melt and emulsify the butter. Once better is melted and beginning to emulsify, add the Parmesan.
Add lemon zest, lemon juice, and chili flakes. Stir until it comes together. Add pasta water if it’s too thick.
Garnish with salt, pepper, chili flakes, etc.
