Ground Beef Rolls with Tortillas

1 pound ground beef

1/2 finely chopped red onion

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon allspice

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

8 8-inch flour tortillas

Avocado oil or olive oil for spraying

Season the Beef:

Combine

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped red onion, salt, black pepper, allspice, and chopped parsley. Mix well to evenly distribute the seasonings throughout the beef mixture.

Prepare the Tortillas:

Heat the tortillas slightly in a microwave or a dry skillet to make them pliable and easier to work with.

Assemble the Tortilla Cones:

Slice

Take one of the tortillas and slice it in half to create two semi-circles.

Top

Place about 2-3 tablespoons of the seasoned beef mixture on one half of the tortilla, spreading it out in a line along the curved edge.

Fold

Carefully fold the tortilla in half over the beef mixture to create a half-moon shape.

Roll

Starting from one end, roll the tortilla tightly around the beef mixture, forming a cone shape. Secure the end with a toothpick if needed. Repeat this process for the remaining tortillas.

Air Fry or Bake:

Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).

Grease

Lightly spray the tortilla cones with avocado oil, or brush them with olive oil. This will help them turn golden and crispy during cooking.

Arrange

Place the tortilla cones in the preheated air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. Cook in batches as needed. Or, arrange them on a baking sheet.

Air Fry

Air fry or bake the tortilla cones for about 8-10 minutes, or until they become golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
