Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

3/4 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup peanut butter (I prefer creamy)

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1-2 tbsp milk (used 1 Tablespoon)

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips (I like semi-sweet)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium sized bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside.

In a hand or stand mixer, combine the butter, peanut butter, sugars, eggs, milk and vanilla together and mix until smooth.

Add the dry ingredients a little at a time until combined well with the wet ingredients. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Using a cookie scooper (or ice cream scooper if you want larger cookies), scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

Flatten the cookies using a fork, just slightly, do not flatten all the way or else they will come out super flat.

Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.

Remove the cookies and let cool on a cooling rack for 10 minutes before serving.
