Sausage Casserole (Emily Zinsmeister)

2 - one lbs sausage rolls

1 can 12 oz cream cheese – (Whipped kind works better)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

3 cans crescent rolls

Optional - I use a small can of green chilis - but you could add anything like spicy peppers or even bacon bits

步驟

Fully cook sausage and drain. While sausage is still warm, mix in cream cheese and chilis.

Spray bottom of pan with cooking spray. Line bottom of dish with 1 pack crescent rolls (usually takes 1½ cans to cover.)

Cover crescent rolls with sausage/cream cheese mixture, add sausage mixture and top with shredded cheese.

Cover all with remaining crescent rolls.

Cook on 350° for approx. 45 minutes - since sausage is already cooked you really just need to watch the crescent rolls to make sure they are cooked.

I put it all together the night before and just bake it in the morning. I set it out of the fridge a little bit before cooking just to let it warm up a little.

I use 2 sausages for work, but if you made it in a smaller pan you could use 1
