Parmesan Baked Pork Chops

4 boneless pork chops about 1 inch thick

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup plain breadcrumbs or panko

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons melted butter

Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease or line a baking dish.

In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.

In a separate bowl, stir together olive oil and melted butter.

Pat pork chops dry with paper towels.

Dip each pork chop into the butter mixture, then press firmly into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides.

Place coated pork chops in the prepared baking dish.

Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

For a crispier top, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end if desired.

Rest pork chops for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if using.
