Condensed milk bread

Ingredients needed are

Warm milk 1 cup (250 ml)

condensed milk 1/4 cup (75g)

egg 1

sugar 2 tbsp (30g)

all purpose flour or bread flour 3&1/2 cup (420g)

salt 1/2 tsp (tasted like it needed more - try 1 tsp)

instant yeast 2 tsp

butter 1/4 cup (50g) (if used)

步驟

Made this 8/4/25. Shared a loaf with Ron’s dad. Really good!

Did not add butter to dough or butter/milk on top.

Let yeast bloom with warm milk, sugar.

Add the rest of the ingredients to the stand mixer. Use dough hook.

Add yeast and milk. yeast before adding flour. Mix until dough pulls away from the bowl.

Put onto a floured surface. Knead at least 5 minutes.

Let rise in oven (100 degrees on proof setting) for one hour.

Divide into two sections.

Roll out and roll dough into loaf. Cut top in sections with scissors, like in picture. Likely bakes through better.

Proof again x 1 hour.

Bake at 330 for 20 minutes

For coating- if used.
