Pizza Appetizer (Diana Johnston)

8oz cream cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Lots of hot peppers

1 8oz bag shredded mozzarella, divided (also can use 4 cheese blend)

½ cup pizza sauce

Mini pepperoni

步驟

Beat cream cheese and seasoning until blended.

Spread in 9” pie plate.

Layer cheese, then sauce and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

Add toppings as you desire.

Bake 350° 15-20 minutes or until heated.

Changes I made:

I do a lot more than 1 tsp of the seasoning but I just dump a lot in, and then I dump a lot of the pizza hot peppers in. As for the cheese, I did mozzarella the first time, but I decided I liked a 4 cheese blend better. Also, I put the mini pepperoni as my topping but I put them on the sauce before I put the final layer of cheese. I figured this would keep them from burning. (I don’t like burned pepperoni).

I only bake for 15 minutes, and it is better if it sits a few minutes before it is served.
