Tiger Bread Rolls

1 x 7g sachet of dried active baking yeast 1 tsp sugar 525ml warm water 2 tsp salt 750g plain flour For the paste: 3 tbsp cornftour 150ml milk

步驟

1 In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast and one teaspoon of sugar in 60ml of the water. Leave to stand lor 10 minutes until foamy.

2 Add the salt and remaining water to the yeast mixture.

3 Stir in 400g of the flour and beat until smooth.

4 Add enough o1 the remaining flour to form a soft dough, then lurn out onto a floured surface and knead for 6-6 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in an oiled bowl. Cover with a tea towel and let rise in a warm place for one hour unlil doubled in size.

5 Whisk together the cornflour and milk until smooth.

6 Punch the dough down and shape into 10 rolls. Place onto a baking troy and cover with the tiger paste. Cover and leave to rise for one hour until doubled.

7 Bake at 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4 for 35-40 minutes until crisp. Leave to cool slightly on wire racks before serving.
