Welcome to Part 2 of my Batching Classic Cocktails series — where I show you how to make bar-quality drinks without playing bartender all night.

This batch recipe is built for holiday parties, dinner parties, and just a good time:

16 oz vodka (or tequila / mezcal if you’re feeling dangerous)

4 oz coffee liqueur

2 oz simple syrup

10 oz fresh chilled espresso

No espresso machine? Hit your local coffee shop or grab a high-quality cold brew concentrate.

Bottle it. Shake it. Keep it chilled.

When you’re ready to serve, shake 3.5 oz hard over ice to build that thick, creamy foam, strain into a frozen coupe, and express an orange peel over the top.

Skip the coffee beans — orange oils > garnish fluff.

Smooth. Rich. Oh so Delicious.
