Soft Pretzels*

1 package yeast

1-1/2 cups lukewarm water

1 teaspoon salt

4 cups flour

1 egg

Coarse salt

步骤

Soften yeast in water in a large bowl

Add salt and sugar; mix

Mix in flour; knead to soft and smooth

Do not rise

Cut immediately into small pieces and roll into pencil shape

Shape into pretzel forms

Place on foil-covered, flour-dusted cookie sheet

Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with salt

Bake at 400 for 15 minutes
